October, 2018: It's been a while since I posted a composer-of-the-month entry, so to celebrate the occasion, I have chosen the wonderful, yet often overlooked French composer Saint-Saens,  Here is a selection from his "Carnival of the Animals" titled "Voliere."  What does the flute depict? Why, birds, of course!
